ボディ補強の最終手段はガセットプレートの取付です。
サーキット走行専用車輌には、ロールケージの装着をされているとは思いますが
市販化されている物はほとんどがフロア部分にボルト止めタイプです。
もちろん、車輌横転時での乗員保護と言う点では効果を発揮しますが
ボディ剛性の面では、ただ取り付けただけでは余り効果は期待できません。
そこで、今回のガセットプレートの様な物でケージとボディを直接止めてしまいます。
こうする事により、ケージとボディが一体化され始めて剛性が確保されます。
取付け位置は効果的な部分に、そして形状は視覚的に見栄えの良い形を工夫して取付けます。
